What can you vaporize with a vaporizer? Well, with the vaporizers in this category, just about anything. They are suitable for:
- Weed (also called dry herb vaporizer)
- Dabs or concentrates (shatter, crumble, wax, rosin, BHO and hash oil)
- Hash and ice-o-lator ☨
- Other dry herbs (lavender, blue lotus, marihuanilla, kanna, dream herb, salvia)*
☨Not all vaporizers are suitable for hash. Read the paragraph below.
*It depends on the adjustable temperature of the vaporizer which dry herbs are suitable.
Hash Vaporizer
Why is hash so tricky for vaporizers? This is mainly due to its sticky consistency in combination with dissolved fibers. Once hash is heated, in unsuitable vaporizers it crawls everywhere it can and becomes like cement when it cools down. A handy solution to this is to use vape wool. This is special degummed fiber hemp from which you make a small bed in the herb chamber. You then place your hash on top of this and you can put hash in your vaporizer without any worries.
All vaporizers in this category can handle hash. With some you only need to use this vape wool. With the filters on this page you can specify whether you'd like to see only vaporizers that allow you to vaporize hash without vape wool. You'll also find vape wool in this category.
Oil in the Vaporizer
CBD oil and cannabis oil are not suitable for use in the vaporizer: any vaporizer.
There are 2 types of oil in the cannabis world: a pure extract and a diluted concentrate. CBD oil and cannabis oil obtained in the manner of Rick Simpson or Mediwiet's Wernard Bruining are not suitable for use in the vaporizer. This is because this oil is not a pure product of cannabis flowers. CBD oil and cannabis oil are diluted with a base oil such as olive oil or hempseed oil in order to be able to dose it. These oils are unhealthy to vaporize. However, you can use the undiluted extract left over before diluting. Beware: very strong!
Hash oil and BHO (Butane Hash Oil) are suitable for use in a vaporizer. These are pure extracts. These extracts are also very strong(80% THC).
