You come across the powerful aroma of thyme as soon as you enter the Provence region of France. In France, thyme is commonly used as a condiment. But thyme doesn’t just have a pleasant smell and taste. Real thyme is also employed in phytotherapy (herbal medicine).
Effects of Thymus vulgaris
Thyme (Thymus vulgaris) is a herb that is extremely versatile in the kitchen but it was very different in the past. Because it is one of the most important herbs in traditional herbal medicine, monastery gardens used to be full of aromatic thyme. You may be aware of the fact that thyme is an important ingredient in many cough mixtures. Cough medicine from thyme is also known as syrup of thyme. Furthermore, thyme can support you in stressful periods, increase mental focus in times of absent-mindedness, and provide you with extra energy when you need it.
What Temperature for the Vaporizer?
The optimum temperature for vaping thyme is 190°C. Set your vaporizer to a temperature between 180 and 200°C and enjoy the delightful aroma of Thymus vulgaris.
