Pests in the grow room? Is your weed plant suffering from spider mites, thrips, aphids or other common pests? Use Neem Oil Weed Plant Insecticide.
This is how Neem oil works
Neem oil contains a compound called Azadirachtin. On the neem tree, this naturally acts as an exterminator and scarecrow by disrupting the growth and digestion of insects. It is a widely applicable natural poison against insects. Between 200 and 600 species of insects can not appreciate neem oil! Fungi such as mildew do not like neem oil either. Neem oil can be used against the following common pests on weed plants:
- Mealworms
- Aphid
- Spider mite
- Sciarid flies
- Thrips
- White flies
- Fungus gnats
- Leaf eating beetles
- Mildew
- False powdery mildew
Neem oil Dosage & Use
According to the University of Wageningen, a solution of 2 l neem oil in 100 liters of water already works against some insects. So 20 ml in one liter is enough to reduce an infestation. Put the neem oil in a plant sprayer and spray the problematic areas of the plant with the spray mode. For stubborn infestations repeat 3 times and/or double the concentration. Shake the sprayer well before use if you are going to dilute it.
