For which grow space is the Mars Hydro FC 3000-EVO LED Grow Light suitable?
The FC 3000-EVO is highly suitable for a grow space of one square meter and can even perfectly light a tent of 110x110 cm. A 300 Watt LED grow light replaces a 400 Watt HID fixture with HPS or MH lamps. In short, growing with LEDs is more energy-efficient.

Efficient Samsung chips
The Mars Hydro FC 3000-EVO is equipped with no less than 896 LED chips from Samsung's LM301H EVO series. These LEDs have an unrivaled efficiency of 3.14 µmol/J. That means more light for fewer euros in simple terms! A PAR value of 854 µmol/s is normally associated with an LED grow light that requires 10 to 20% more power. There's a warm white LED (3000K) to encourage blooming, a cool white (5000K) for extra large plants during the growth phase, and a special deep red LED from 650-665 nm for chunky tops dripping with THC.
Continuous dimming
With its continuously dimmable feature and handy button to dim the light at once, this powerhouse grow light is equipped with an indispensable function for working in the grow space.
Very even light distribution
The FC 3000-EVO offers a blinding amount of light across the entire grow surface. And in the center, at a height of 35 cm, a PPFD of more than 1360 µmol/s.m² can be achieved.

Some information, such as the optimum distance from the plant, is a guideline we receive from the supplier. Your growing space and cannabis plant may vary.
From Mars Hydro, we've received the following advice for the FC 3000-EVO. You can keep the height of the lamp from the peaks constant if you use the dimming function. Without adding CO2, hang the grow lamp at 30 cm. If you add CO2, you can even hang the lamp lower: 20 cm from your plants. Then use the dimmer with the following settings:
- Seedlings | Without CO2: 25% light | With CO2*: 50% light
- Growth phase | Without CO2: 75% light | With CO2*: 75% light
- Flowering phase | Without CO2: 100% light | With CO2*: 100% light
