Tasty, freshly acidic lemon balm for in your vaporizer or in tea! You can use these top-quality herbs on a daily basis. On their own or in combination with other herbs.
Lemony Aroma
Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) is also called balsam, lemon herb or melissa. It has a pleasant lemony aroma which gnats hate. That’s why lemon balm is used, for example, to make Citronella perfumed candles which you put out on the patio of an evening so that you aren’t bothered by those nasty little creatures.
Effects of Lemon Balm
Lemon balm is one of the best flavours you can add to other herb mixtures. The mildly acidic and sweet taste of fresh lemons doesn’t dominate. In traditional herbal medicine, lemon balm is used for nervousness and hyperactivity. It has a mildly relaxing and calmative effect.
Do not use during pregnancy.
What Temperature for the Vaporizer?
It’s best to vape lemon balm in a vaporizer set to 142°C. Perhaps you’re not able to set your vaporizer to a precise temperature. In that case use a setting between 135°C and 145°C.
Brewing Melissa officinalis Tea
You can also brew tea with these herbs. Use a fine tea sieve or tea egg for that. Fill the sieve or egg with herbs and leave it to steep in hot water for 5 to 10 minutes. Then enjoy it!
