The flavor of the Jack Herer strain is very complex. Hashish-like aromas mixed with Afghan notes and a fruity skunk flavor. The effect is typical for a 50/50 hybrid like this. Jack Herer weed gives you an energetic, uplifting and cerebral high. This is accompanied by a stimulating body buzz. Jack Herer is officially recognized in the Netherlands as one of the few medicinal strains. Beware of its potency and long-lasting effects.
Growth and yield
This 50/50 hybrid displays many different phenotypes. They often lean towards the sativa side. Expect a strong growth spurt at the beginning of the growing phase. The buds of the Jack Herer strain are huge. They are covered with a thick layer of trichomes containing 20% THC. This lady has a flowering period of 10 to 12 weeks and you can harvest by the last week of October at the earliest.
Jack Herer is actually specially developed for indoor growing. If you want to grow her outdoors, a warm summer is required. Still, there are plenty of cultivation reports from Western Europe that show huge plants with excellent yields. Yes, she can grow up to 3.5 meters tall if you take good care of her. Indoors she has an average height of one meter, but watch out for peaks. All in all, a monster yield of 800 g/m2 is possible.
Growing tips from Dutch-Headshop
Please watch out for mold at the end of the flowering phase if you grow outdoors in a temperate climate. The buds are huge, so they really need space and plenty of air circulation. Screen of Green (SCROG), supercropping and lollipoping will increase yields.
