Glass Ice Bong
This glass bong is equipped with ice catchers. You can use these to fill the top of the bong with ice cubes. The ice catchers keep the ice cubes at the top of the water pipe. The bong itself can still be filled with water. It is not necessary to fill the ice bong with ice cubes; this is optional. When using ice cubes, the smoke is (more) cooled and the taste is softer on the throat.
Using a Bong with a Carb Hole
Fill the bong with water just below the air hole. Place a screen in the chillum and put the weed or hash on the screen. Hold a finger over the air hole and light the cannabis with a lighter or hemp wick. Take a hit from the bong and just before you have inhaled enough smoke, remove your finger from the air hole.
Lift-Off Bowl
Instead of the carb hole, you can also choose to remove the bowl before taking a bong hit. You then place your finger over the carb hole and remove the bowl when you are ready to inhale the smoke. Another advantage of this removable bowl is that it is easy to clean in this otherwise hard-to-reach place.
