Flavour and Effects
The terpene profile of Californian Gold leans towards myrene and limonene, so you can taste mainly mango, lemon and other fruits. Simply delicious. With up to 24% THC and a relatively high level of myrene, couchlock is lurking, so be careful not to take too much. Until then you can enjoy a cheerful, clear and relaxing high and a mild body stone, comparable to a top quality Kush. Also very suitable for medicinal users.
Growth and Yield
For the indoor grower, Californian Gold is a godsend. Especially in the growing space where height is the limiting factor. She grows in width and has a typical, broad indica leaf. She develops large buds that drip from the sticky resin that looks like honey. Indoors she will produce a maximum of 500 grams of fresh weed per square meter after 8 to 9 weeks of flowering.
Prefer to grow weed outdoors? With 750 grams per plant she will add another scoop to the yield. Californian Gold can take a (cool) beating, but plant it in a place with enough sun, because it does very well in a warm climate. Harvest her buds at the beginning of October.
