Also in 2022, we see our house brand seeds selling better than any other brand. The germination tray that comes with Dutch-Headshop seeds is made of PLA corn plastic. This is a bioplastic that degrades in the environment under the right conditions.
Moreover, the tray does just as good a job as the plastic tray that we used to provide with the house brand weed seeds. There are two things we would like to draw your attention to. When germinating, it is possible that the tray becomes a little moist on the outside. So make sure you put the tray on a dish to avoid rings on your nice furniture. The water can also run out a little faster than you might be used to. So be sure to check every day whether the cotton wool supplied is nice and wet. If not, add a little (spring) water.
Do you want to throw away the biodegradable container? Then you can throw it away with the residual waste. But why not throw it away if it is biodegradable and made of corn? The bin takes longer to decompose than the waste disposal department has time for. That is the only reason. So why do we choose corn plastic? Because it is made of sustainable material, it is less harmful to the environment as litter and it takes less energy to make.

Trend 3: Reaching for the THC Ceiling
Seed producers are constantly trying to outdo each other. Especially around the time of the cannabis cups, the best growers try to market superlatives in the cannabis industry. From even higher yields to delicious gourmet weed. But the category everyone is waiting for is that of high THC percentages. How high can they get the THC percentage in a bud?

Trend 5: Cannabis for Connoisseurs
